Position Memory Switch Removal/Installation
WARNING:
- Handling a front seat equipped with a side air bag improperly can accidentally operate (deploy) the air bag, which may seriously injure you. Read the service warnings/cautions in the appropriate service information before handling the front seat (side air bag integrated). - Switch the ignition OFF (LOCK).
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Pull the power seat switch knob in the direction of the arrow (1) shown in the figure below, and remove it while disengaging tabs A and B.
- Remove the front seat side cover. (See FRONT SEAT SIDE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the screws.
- Remove the position memory switch.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
