Auto Leveling Control Module Removal/Installation: R.H.D.

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Driver-side front scuff plate (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Driver-side front side trim (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Driver-side decoration panel (See DRIVER-SIDE DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Passenger-side decoration panel (See PASSENGER-SIDE DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Driver-side lower panel (See DRIVER-SIDE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- While pressing tab of the bracket in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, pull the auto leveling control module connector in the direction of arrow (2) to pull out the auto leveling control module from the bracket.
- While pressing tab of the bracket in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, pull the auto leveling control module connector in the direction of arrow (2) to pull out the auto leveling control module from the bracket.
- Disconnect the connector and remove the auto leveling control module.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- If the auto leveling control module is replaced, perform the following procedure.
- Switch the ignition ON (engine off) to complete the global central configuration (GCC) for the auto leveling control module.
- Clear the DTC. (Refer to CLEARING DTC .) )
- Perform the headlight auto leveling system initialization. (See HEADLIGHT AUTO LEVELING SYSTEM INITIALIZATION .)
