DTC inspection

- Using the M-MDS, perform a DTC inspection and verify if any vehicle control module (VCM)-related DTCs are detected. (Refer to [DTC INSPECTION
] in the Troubleshooting Service Information)
DTC is detected
- If DTC U3000:05 or U3000:49 is detected, replace the body control module (BCM). (See BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L.H.D.] )
- If the detected DTC is other than U3000:05 or U3000:49, inspect for possible causes of the detected DTC starting from the top. (Refer to [DTC TABLE [VCM]
] in the Troubleshooting Service Information)
- If the malfunction is not resolved, replace the body control module (BCM). (See BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L.H.D.] )
No DTC is detected
- Perform a visual inspection. (See Visual inspection )
