MODEL 202 as of 1.6.97, 208, 210.081 /281, 210 (except 210.081 /281) as of 1.3.97

The automatic locking feature can be activated and deactivated with the interior switch (CL) (S6/1s2)  .

Function prerequisite:

Activating function

Activation of the switch is read in by the signal acquisition and actuation module (SAM) (N10/1)  and transmitted to the PSE control module (combined) (A37)  as CAN message.

The PSE control module checks the prerequisites for the function and switches the automatic locking feature off when it receives the CAN message that the interior switch (CL) (S6/1s2)  is held in the "unlock" position for longer than 5 seconds  .

Deactivating function

The PSE control module switches the automatic locking feature back on when a CAN message is received that the interior switch (CL) (S6/1s2)  is actuated in the direction "lock" for longer than 5 seconds  .

IMPORTANT

Activation or deactivation of the automatic locking feature is no longer possible with the CL interior switch when it has been deactivated with the hand-held tester (HHT).
