With the central locking interior switch (S6/1s2)  it is possible to lock or unlock the vehicle with the exception of the tank flap. This does not activate or deactivate the anti-theft alarm (ATA)  .

Actuation of the interior switch is recognized by the signal acquisition and actuation module (SAM) (N10/1)  . If the function of the switch is released the SAM transmits to the PSE control module (combined) (A37)  the command to unlock or lock the vehicle via the CAN bus.

The PSE unlocks or locks pneumatically.

The interior switch is enabled via the CAN bus by the central locking or unlocking functions.

The following situations are possible:

When none of the doors is open, complete function.

IMPORTANT If the vehicle is locked with the remote control key  and the remote control key is then inserted into the ignition lock the vehicle is in the same state as if it has been locked with switch S6/1s2.
