Function 

One of the three infrared remote control receivers for the left front door (A26/1), right front door (A26/2) or trunk lid (A26/3) ( W129/140  ) or interior rearview mirror (A26/7) ( W202/210  ) when actuated transfers the infrared light signal from the IR control remote control key with transponder to the infrared RCL control module (N54) via a control lead. When the vehicle is locked the red indicator lamps in the infrared remote control (RCL) receiver actuated by the infrared RCL control module (N54) flash; when the vehicle is unlocked the green indicator lamps flash.
