MODEL 210 

Replacement of complete lock set 

Replacement of a complete lock set (keys, EIS, ESL, ECM) is generally not required, because all of the parts can be replaced separately while maintaining the electronic lock number.

Replacement should only be accomplished when necessary due to MB requirements, e.g. when a key is lost while transporting a new vehicle to the field organization, and not simply when requested by a customer. 

In this case all of the components required for DAS 3 must be replaced. The vehicle is given a new electronic lock number. This is documented in the key management upon delivery.

Procedure with workshop key instead of HHT 

The following procedures can be performed with the HHT or workshop key

Execution of the functions listed above illustrated for the HHT are replaced by the following subfunctions when a workshop key is used:
