Coolant temperature sensor, location Engine 119 GF07.04-P-5026-02E
    Engine 120 GF07.04-P-5026-02F
Coolant temperature sensor, task Detecting the coolant temperature and supplying information to the ME control module, and to the automatic air conditioning control module (N22) or air conditioning control module (N19)
  Coolant temperature sensor design   GF07.04-P-5026-01F
Coolant temperature sensor, function The NTC resistor integrated in the coolant temperature sensor (B11) alters its electrical resistance in line with the coolant temperature.
NTC means negative temperature coefficient, in other words the electrical resistance becomes less as the temperature rises.

    Example:
    Coolant temperature resistance
    20°C 2500 Ω ± 5%
    80°C 325 Ω ± 5%
