Intake air temperature sensor function - GF07.04-P-2100-02H

The NTC resistor (b) integrated in the intake air temperature sensor (B17) alters its electrical resistance in line with the ambient air temperature. NTC means negative temperature coefficient, in other words the electrical resistance becomes less as the temperature rises.
