Version Coding
Version coding allows different settings to be programmed within A/C push-button control unit. Engine version is automatically transferred from the instrument cluster to the A/C push-button control unit by the serial interface (K1). All other version coding is done using Hand-Held Tester (HHT). When performing version coding follow HHT screen prompts and select desired settings. See A/C PUSH-BUTTON CONTROL UNIT VERSION CODING table. For entering version code to A/C push-button control unit, perform procedures as follow:
- Turn ignition on.
- Left display indicates "HI" and right display indicates "LO".
- Turn ignition off.
- To access value No. 1, press REST button and turn ignition on simultaneously. "P1" will flash in left display window and right display will show numerical value.
- Press right temperature selector button to select value.
- To enter value, press and hold the EC button for longer than one second.
- To access value No. 2, press REST button and turn ignition on simultaneously. "P2" will flash in left display window and right display will show numerical value.
- Press right temperature selector button to select value.
- To enter value, press and hold the EC button for longer than one second.
- Turn ignition off to return A/C push-button control unit to normal operation.
- Reset left and right temperature settings.
