Version Coding

Version coding allows different settings to be programmed within A/C push-button control unit. Engine version is automatically transferred from the instrument cluster to the A/C push-button control unit by the serial interface (K1). All other version coding is done using Hand-Held Tester (HHT). When performing version coding follow HHT screen prompts and select desired settings. See A/C PUSH-BUTTON CONTROL UNIT VERSION CODING  table. For entering version code to A/C push-button control unit, perform procedures as follow:

1. Turn ignition on.
2. Left display indicates "HI" and right display indicates "LO".
3. Turn ignition off.
4. To access value No. 1, press REST button and turn ignition on simultaneously. "P1" will flash in left display window and right display will show numerical value.
5. Press right temperature selector button to select value.
6. To enter value, press and hold the EC button for longer than one second.
7. To access value No. 2, press REST button and turn ignition on simultaneously. "P2" will flash in left display window and right display will show numerical value.
8. Press right temperature selector button to select value.
9. To enter value, press and hold the EC button for longer than one second.
10. Turn ignition off to return A/C push-button control unit to normal operation.
11. Reset left and right temperature settings.
