Function of trunk lid status indicator - GF80.20-P-4015A

MODEL 202 as of 1.6.97, 208, 210.081, 210 (except 210.2 /081) as of 1.3.97 

The status of the trunk lid is indicated by an LED in the remote trunk release switch (N72s15)  . If the trunk lid is open, the contact for the trunk lamp switch (S17/8)  is closed. The switch position is read in by the PSE control module (combined) (A37)  .

The PSE transmits a CAN message to the lower control panel control module (N72)  . The lower control panel control module actuates the LED in the remote trunk release switch (N72s15)  . If the push button unit illumination (circuit 58d) is switched on the LED is actuated with a low current (day/night feature).
