Optical alarm, function - GF80.50-P-4006A
MODEL 202 from 1.6.97 to 31.5.98, 208, 210 up to 31.5.98 with CODE (551a) Anti-theft alarm (ATA)
The PSE control module (combined) (A37) controls the sequence of the optical signals via the CAN bus. The sequence differs according to the national version and is defined in the PSE version coding.
- ECE: Hazard warning lamps flash at intervals of 2.5 Hz for 5 minutes
: Fog lamps and tail lamps flash for 2.5 minutes at intervals of 0.8 Hz
The lamps are controlled by the signal acquisition and actuation module (SAM) (N10/1) .

As long as the alarm is present the PSE control module (A37) switches on the rear dome lamp (E15/2) and the overhead control panel control module (N70) switches on the interior lighting.
The alarm can be discontinued by activating or deactivating the ATA . After discontinuation by activating the ATA the ATA remains active.
