Optical alarm, function - GF80.50-P-4006B

MODEL 129, 140, 170 up to 31.5.98, 202 up to 31.5.97 with CODE (551a) Anti-theft alarm system (ATA) 

The PSE control module (combined) (A37) or ATA control module (N26) controls the optical signals. The sequence differs depending on the national version.

• ECE:  Hazard warning flashers flash for 5 minutes in intervals
• : Low-beam headlights are switched on continuously
• : Fog lamps and tail lamps flash for 2.5 minutes in intervals
• All:  Front and rear interior lighting is switched on (when interior lamp switch is in the "on" position)

The alarm can be terminated by activating  or deactivating the ATA  . After termination of the alarm the ATA remains activated.
