Switching off anti-towing sensor, function - GF80.50-P-3024B

MODEL 210 / (except 210.081 /281) up to 28.2.97 with CODE (551a) Anti-theft alarm (ATA) with CODE (552a) Anti-theft alarm (ATA) for Switzerland with CODE (882a) Interior protection (infrared) 

The anti-towing sensor (TS)  can be switched off with the ATA status/towing protection/IR switch (S85/2)  in the center console. Switch-off must be accomplished with the anti-theft alarm (ATA)  deactivated and ignition switched off (circuit 15 off).

Press the switch down to switch off the TS  . Actuation of the switch is registered by the PSE control module (combined) (A37)  .

After releasing the switch successful switch-off is indicated by the LED in the switch coming on continuously  for two seconds. When the ATA is activated the next time  the TS remains off.
