Transponder coil, location/purpose/function - GF80.30-P-4007A

MODEL 129, 140, 210 (except, 210.072) as of 1.6.96, 210 / (except 210.2 /081) as of 1.6.96 up to 28.2.97 

MODEL 170, 210.072 /2 (except, 210.281) up to 28.2.97 

MODEL 202 (except 202.083) as of 1.8.96 up to 31.5.97 

MODEL 202.083 up to 31.5.97 

  Purpose The transponder coil (L11) serves as the data link between the transponder and DAS infrared control module (N54/1).  
  Function After the ignition is switched ON the coil for the transponder (L11) is actuated by the DAS infrared control module (N54/1) supplying power to the transponder in the key also containing a coil inductively via the resulting field.  
  Location Plugged on to the ignition/starter switch.
