28/98-1 RECALLS AND SERVICE CAMPAIGNS: WHEN REPAIRING ANY VEHICLE, ALWAYS CHECK THE VEHICLE MASTER INQUIRY FOR OPEN CAMPAIGNS

28/98-2 GROUP 43 - ALL VEHICLES WITH BAS: If you recur a complaint of a vehicle equipped with BAS intermittently starting and / or the tip start feature is without function, please check for the following codes which may be stored individually or as a combination of two or more: B1040, B1041, B1043, C1020, C1022, C1025, C1031, P0600, P0603, P1606, P1630, P1747, 132 (ETC) and 135 (ETC). In such cases, the cause may be moisture / corrosion in the plug for BAS ECU or in the BAS ECU. To correct, please check plug no. 3 (CAN / voltage supply) for moisture / corrosion and if necessary exchange the BAS ECU. In case of warranty, use Damage Code 54582 73.
