Trunk lid remote control networking
The trunk lid remote control switch (N72s15) is used to open the trunk lid from inside the vehicle.
Function requirements
The trunk lid remote control switch (N72s15) function is enabled by the lower control panel control module (N72),
- the emergency opening function is triggered
- by unlocking the vehicle using the transmitter key,
- by unlocking the vehicle
using the lock switches (only
,
),
- by unlocking the vehicle using the interior central locking switch (S6s1) if it was previously locked automatically or with the switch (S6s1),
- the transmitter key is inserted into the ignition lock after locking the vehicle with the transmitter key.
The switch function is blocked by the lower control panel control module (N72), if
- the automatic lock function is triggered
- the vehicle is locked using the transmitter key or the interior central locking switch (S6s1) ,
- the vehicle is locked using the lock switches (only
Operational sequence
Actuation of the trunk lid remote control switch (N72s15) is detected by the lower control panel control module (N72) . If the switch function has been enabled, then the lower control panel control module (N72) sends the command to open the trunk lid over the CAN to the pneumatic system equipment (PSE) (A37) . The PSE opens the trunk lid pneumatically if the trunk lock has not been locked through the lock cylinder being set to the 90° position.
