Test 21: CAN "L" Data Line Open

Using Adapter Cable (202 589 15 63 00), connect Breakout Box (124 589 00 21 00) to remote control locking control module. See Figure. Disconnect RCL control module from breakout box, leaving RCL control module harness connector attached to breakout box. Disconnect Engine Control Module (ECM) harness connector. Disconnect Drive Authorization System (DAS) control module (if equipped). Measure resistance between appropriate terminals and connectors. See CAN "L" DATA LINE RESISTANCE table. If resistance is less than one ohm, there is no open in CAN "L" data line at this time. If resistance is one ohm or greater, repair open in appropriate wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
