18/99-2 GROUP 27 - W220, TRANSMISSIONS: If it is necessary to replace a defective transmission control module, please do one of the following:
- Order the transmission control module using 022 545 51 32 26 with chassis number added. This process allows Germany to provide a properly version coded transmission control module.
- If you have a transmission control module in stock with no version code, you can version code it using the DAS system. One important point to consider is that ETC control modules must have the same part number to transfer the version code. You cannot transfer the version code from the 022 54550 32 to a 022 545 51 32.
