DTC Description (CAN Fault Recognition)
- Fault Memory & Actuation Of MIL - MIL is turned on after 2 consecutive driving cycles with fault.
- Frequency Of Testing - Continuous.
- Checked Signal Or Status - The Electronic Transmission Control (ETC) module monitors wheel speed signal from the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) control module for plausibility through the Controller Area Network (CAN) data bus.
- Duration Of Test - Less than one second.
NOTE:
Faults are recognized by the Electronic Transmission Control (ETC) module and sent to the ME-SFI control module via the Controller Area Network (CAN) data bus. The ME-SFI control module carries out fault memory and actuation of Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL). Also read out ETC fault memory, fault codes 22, 23 and 30.
