DTC Description (Gear Comparison Negative Several Times)

Fault Memory & Actuation Of MIL - MIL is turned on after 2 consecutive driving cycles with fault.
Frequency Of Testing - Continuous.
Checked Signal Or Status - Comparison of recognized gear and shifted gear (calculated gear ratio) negative at least 6 times.
Test Conditions - Gears 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th must be detected, engine speed more than 400 RPM, output shaft speed more than 150 RPM (corresponds to approximately 12 MPH) and no shift process.

NOTE: The gear ratios are calculated from the following values: speed signal (n2), speed signal (n3) and output shaft speed (determined through rear wheel speed). Faults are recognized by the Electronic Transmission Control (ETC) module and sent to the ME-SFI control module through the Controller Area Network (CAN) data bus. The ME-SFI control module carries out fault memory and actuation of Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL). Also read out the ETC fault memory, fault code 55.
