- Fault Memory & Actuation Of MIL - After 2 consecutive driving cycles with fault.
- Frequency Of Testing - Continuous.
- Checked Signal Or Status - Limit values of oxygen sensor signal and sensor status change.
- Lower Limit Value - Less than -.15 volts.
- Upper Limit Value - More than 1.5 volts.
- Duration Of Test - Approximately 5 seconds.
- Sensor Status Change - After approximately 220 seconds with sensor heater switched on, the sensor signal must not dwell in the 0.4-0.6 volt window for more than approximately 15 seconds.
- Test Conditions - Engine speed approximately 1000-2000 RPM, engine load approximately 15-50 percent, TWC temperature more than 716°F (380°C) and Lambda control enabled.
