DTC Description (Gear Comparison Negative Several Times)

- Fault Memory & Actuation Of MIL - MIL is turned on after 2 consecutive driving cycles with fault.
- Frequency Of Testing - Continuous.
- Checked Signal Or Status - Comparison of recognized gear and shifted gear (calculated gear ratio) negative at least 6 times.
NOTE:
The gear ratios are calculated from the following values: speed signal (n2), speed signal (n3) and output shaft speed (determined through rear wheel speed). Faults are recognized by the Electronic Transmission Control (ETC) module and sent to the ME-SFI control module through the Controller Area Network (CAN) data bus. The ME-SFI control module carries out fault memory and actuation of Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL). Also read out the ETC fault memory, fault code 55.
