ON-LINE SCN CODING INSTRUCTIONS USING XENTRY FLASH.

NOTE: Information Only.

A. INTRODUCTION

This bulletin provides instructions on how to use the On-Line SCN Coding with the new Xentry Flash function of the STAR Diagnosis System which will be available with the release of DAS 11/07.

On-Line SCN Coding with Xentry Flash is designed to streamline the SCN Coding process by eliminating the need for a technician to transfer between Star Browser and DAS on the SDS.

On-Line SCN Coding can only be performed using a STAR Diagnosis System that has been networked and has access to the internet. For information on networking of the STAR Diagnosis System please refer to documents posting on STAR TekInfo under the Systems & Administration/SDS Tab titled: Phase (1,2,3) Letter Online SCN Coding.

B. OBTAINING ONLINE SCN CODING USER IDs

To obtain an On-line SCN Coding User ID:

NOTE: Passwords can be reset by the NetStar Helpdesk - 1-888-9 NetStar
