Performing Chassis Alignment Check

CAUTION: If equipped disable power memory seats and steering wheel, damage to seat or steering wheel may result, if steering wheel holder or brake pedal winch is in place and memory position goes into motion.
  1. Drive vehicle onto electronic alignment system. Set parking brake, open window, switch OFF ignition. Install brake pedal winch on brake pedal. See Figure . Attach measuring heads to each wheel. Unlock rotary and sliding plates. Perform initial measurements.
  2. Check vehicle level at front and rear axle and adjust as necessary. See READY TO DRIVE CONDITION  under RIDING HEIGHT.
  3. Perform alignment procedure as follows:
  4. Evaluate measurements, make necessary adjustments.
  5. Recheck alignment measurements.
  6. Remove alignment equipment from vehicle. Test drive vehicle.
