Part load operation: optimum emission levels and good fuel consumption are assured when engine is operating at its normal temperature, in combination with the lambda closed-loop control.

Full load operation: Maximum engine torque is supplied at pedal value 100%. The injection time is extended accordingly for this purpose.

The respective fuel quantity is supplied to the engine in line with the control map. At pedal value sensor a rotational range of more than approx. 90% is defined as full load; approx. 10 - 90% as part load.

The fuel quantity is dependent on:
