The position display in the instrument cluster (A1) is actuated by the ETC (ETC) control unit (N15/3) via the engine compartment CAN.

The program selection display in the instrument cluster (A1) is actuated by the electronic selector lever module control unit (N15/5) likewise via the engine compartment CAN.

The program selection performed at the transmission mode switch (S16/5) remains stored only after driving for approximately one minute and is then displayed again after the engine is started again. The driving time required of approximately one minute is due to the system.

The shift pattern display (87) is illuminated when the driving lights are switched on. See Fig 1.
