Remove/Install Selector Lever Handle With Covering

Remove/Install 

1. 1 -  Move selector lever into position "N".
2. 2.1 -  Turn key in electronic ignition lock EIS into position "O".
   NOTE: Key cannot be withdrawn.
   NOTE: With Keyless Go code 889, press repeatedly the start-stop button until the ignition is switched off.
3. 3 -  Unclip cover (2) on left and right. See Fig 1. During Installation  use installation wedge (115 589 03 59 00). See Fig 2.
   NOTE: Four catches (arrows).
4. 4 -  Turn cover (2) up and over selector lever handle (1). See Fig 3.
5. 5 -  Release clamping piece (3). Turn clamping piece (3) in anti-clockwise direction (arrow A). During installation  rotate clamping piece (3) clockwise (arrow B).
6. 6 -  Pull selector lever handle (1) off selector lever rod (4).
7. 7 -  Install in reverse order.
