Remove/install steering angle sensor - AR46.10-P-0300TA

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install    
IMPORTANT Steering angle sensor (N49) and steering column module (N80) form one component and can only be replaced together    
1 Remove clock spring contact   AR46.10-P-0200TA 
2 Remove screw (1)    
3 Unclip retaining lugs (a) of steering column module (N80) from carrier plate (5)    
4 Pull out steering angle sensor (N49) from carrier plate (5) IMPORTANTInstallation:  Check basic position of steering angle sensor (observe arrows on steering angle sensor and inner race (2)). If the steering angle sensor is twisted, move steering angle sensor to center position before reinstalling:

Turn inner race of steering angle sensor counterclockwise to limit stop (turn gently against limit stop, risk of damage), then turn approx. two turns clockwise until the arrows on the steering angle sensor and inner race match
 
5 Install in the reverse order
