Error Message "Component SBC Temperature Too Low" When Programming the SBC Control Unit
SERVICE INFORMATION
In the above model vehicles, if you encounter STAR Diagnosis displaying the following error message "Component SBC Temperature too Low" during programming of the SBC Control Unit, please perform the following to resolve.
NOTE:
Due to a parameterization error in STAR Diagnosis and the SBC control unit, the above listed error message and an erroneous temperature value for the SBC control unit of -50°C can be displayed.
- Press the F1 key to return to the introductory screen for SBC programming
- Switch the ignition Off
- Wait 5 seconds
- Switch the ignition On
- Press the F2 key
- The SBC programming will now be continued
NOTE:
The programming error only affects vehicles as of
