Modified Fuel Tank

As of VIN F168007 a modified fuel tank (1) is used.

With the modified fuel tank (1) (Fig 1) the connection of the rear window water drain and the openings (A, B) (Fig 1) in the rear floor has change.

Up to VIN F168006 with the old rear floor A 171 610 03 61 the following modifications must be made to the rear floor:

Drill bore (B) (Fig 3):
1. 130.3 mm (Fig 2)
2. 63.8 mm (Fig 2)
3. 67.2 mm (Fig 2)
4. 137.5 mm (Fig 2)
Mount new water drain hose A 171 639 05 94 into bore (B) (Fig 3).
Adapt soundproofing to new drill holes.
Seal the two rear openings for the hose passages at left/right (A) (Fig 3) with stop plugs A 003 997 55 86 in combination with body sealer.

Up to VIN F168006 with the new rear floor A 171 610 04 61 (2) (Fig 3) the following modifications must be made to the rear floor:

Seal the two rear openings for hose passages at left/right (A) (Fig 3) with stop plugs A 113 987 00 44 in combination with body sealer.
Mount new water drain hose A 171 639 05 94 into opening (B) (Fig 3).
