Location
The front SAM control unit is located in the driver-side control unit box.
Task
The front SAM control unit is connected to the interior CAN to exchange data.
Limit switches supply systems and control units with voltage to match the function sequence. Requests are notified to the front SAM control unit over the interior CAN or by reading in switches and sensors.
The individual components are protected by the fuses contained in the fuse and relay block.
