Upper control panel control unit, task - GF54.21-P-4105-02T
The upper control panel control unit (N72/1) is connected to the Controller Area Network bus Class B (interior) (CAN B) for the exchange of data.
The upper control panel control unit (N72/1) has the following tasks
Reading in the integral switches:
- ESP OFF switch (N72/1s1)
- Rear head restraints switch (N72/1s4)
- Hazard warning system switch (N72/1s5)
- Interior central locking and ATA function display switch (N72/1s6)
- Rear roller blind switch (N72/1s9) (with code (540) Electric rear window roller blind)
- Left front HS [SIH] switch (N72/1s10) (with code (873) Heated left and right front seats or with code (401) Front comfort seats, incl. seat heating and seat ventilation)
- Right front HS [SIH] switch (N72/1s11) (with code (873) Heated left and right front seats or with code (401) Front comfort seats, incl. seat heating and seat ventilation)
- Left front seat ventilation switch (N72/1s13) (with code (401) Front comfort seats, incl. seat heating and seat ventilation)
- Right front seat ventilation switch (N72/1s14) (with code (401) Front comfort seats, incl. seat heating and seat ventilation)
- Upper control panel carrier open/close switch (N72/1s15)
Actuation of the following components:
- Switch and controls illumination of integrated switches
- Automatic child seat recognition airbag OFF indicator lamp (N72/1e1)
On vehicles as of 1.6.07 and without code (U18) automatic child seat recognition (ACSR) the automatic child seat recognition airbag OFF indicator lamp (N72/1e1) is only actuated with circuit 15 On for the lamp check for approx. 4 s, over and above this the automatic child seat recognition airbag OFF indicator lamp (N72/1e1) is nonfunctional.
