Activate steering angle sensor - AR46.10-P-0300-01T

If the battery has been disconnected or the voltage supply to the steering angle sensor has been interrupted, the ESP, SPS [PML] and BAS control unit switches to fault.

The following message appears in the multifunction display "EI.-STAB.-PROGRAM - LOCATE WORKSHOP".

The steering-angle sensor must be re-activated to clear the malfunction.

Activating steering angle sensor 

1. Start engine and run at idling speed.
2. Turn the steering wheel from one lock position to the other, then center it.

   The message

   "EI.-STAB.-PROGRAM - LOCATE WORKSHOP" goes out in the multifunction display.
