Location
The overhead control panel control unit is located in the front area of the roof near the inside rearview mirror on the dome.

The overhead control panel control unit contains the master function for final shutoff of the vehicle interior lighting. The interior lamps are always switched on or off in dimming action (exception: reading lamp).
Scanning the following switches:
- Left interior lamp, 1st seat row
- Right interior lamp, 1st seat row
- Roof switch
- Rear dome lamp switch
- Door contact ON and OFF switch
- Interior lamp switch, 1st seat row
- Left reading lamp switch, 1st seat row
- Right reading lamp switch, 1st seat row
The SOS pushbutton switch (S93/3) is only installed for vehicles with USA version, code 494. The SOS pushbutton switch is not read in or supplied via the overhead control panel control unit. This is performed via the E-call control unit (N112).
