• Circuit 15R On (up to 31.5.07)

Function of store steering column position 

The adjusted position of the steering column can be stored in the left front seat control unit via the memory switch 1, 2 or 3.

There are two options for storing the position:

• Press and hold memory switch and at the same time press memory 1 switch, 2 or 3 briefly
• Press memory switch for at least 40 ms and press the memory 1 switch, 2 or 3 briefly within 3 s.

On vehicles as of 1.6.07 an acoustic feedback sounds via the warning buzzer integrated in the instrument cluster (A1) after the steering column positions are stored (A1h1).

Function of call up steering column position 

Press the corresponding memory switch 1, 2 or 3 in the left front seat operation switch group and keep pressed until the stored position is reached.

Release the corresponding memory 1 switch, 2 or 3 finishes calling up the stored positions.

When the steering column position is stored or called up the position of the outside mirrors and the driver seat is likewise stored or called up.
