Interior motion sensor transmitter/receiver, function - GF80.50-P-4104-02SK

Activation/deactivation

The Interior motion sensor transmitter/receiver (A26/14) is activated or deactivated with corresponding commands via the data interface in the overhead control panel control module (N70).

The Interior motion sensor transmitter/receiver (A26/14) operates as motion sensor and monitors the passenger compartment with the aid of ultrasonic signals which are not transmitted in any particular direction.

They are reflected by the passenger compartment.

Interior motion sensor

The reflections are registered via the interior motion sensor transmitter/receiver (A26/14) and evaluated by the microcontroller.

The reflection pattern changes when objects in the interior are moved. In this manner, the interior motion sensor transmitter/receiver (A26/14) detects break-in into the vehicle.

Alarm actuation

If an alarm criterion is recognized, the interior motion sensor transmitter/receiver (A26/14) relays the corresponding signal to the overhead control panel control module (N70). The overhead control panel control module (N70) relays the signal via the controller area network bus class B (interior compartment) (CAN B) to the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2), which then starts an optical and acoustic alarm.
