CAUSE / EXPLANATION
After replacement and transfer of coding per LI 27.50-P-049710 , unable to SCN code the new VGS control unit. ( See SDS error message on separate sheet). During the transfer of coding according to the DTC, the EHS part number should change to the latest version (VGS 3). If the coding transfer fails and wipes out the EHS number, you have to enter the latest EHS p/n according to SB 27.19/118A .
CORRECTION
Enter the latest EHS p/n according to application in correction programming (re-write EHS number) This will allow SCN coding to complete.
