Vehicle-sensitive belt lock sensor, component description - GF91.60-P-4062SC

Location 

The vehicle-sensitive belt lock sensor is located at the inner left longitudinal member in the vicinity of the B-pillar.

Task 

The vehicle-sensitive belt lock sensor monitors the current acceleration and tilt of the vehicle using a tilting cone sensor. The vehicle-sensitive belt lock sensor transmits a permanent signal for detecting faults in the left front seat belt lock relay (K18/2) and the right front seat belt lock relay (K18/3) actuation circuits.

The fault is transmitted via the left front seat control unit (N32/1) or the right front seat control unit (N32/2) to the instrument cluster (A1).
