  • Actuation of a manual EMERGENCY CALL
  • Signaling of EMERGENCY CALL operating conditions through two installed LEDs.

  • Parallel to the switch contact a horizontal "sense" resistor (pushbutton switch status for E-call self-diagnosis)
 
  E-call pushbutton switch, function When actuating the emergency call system pushbutton switch (S93/3)  the "sense" resistor (pushbutton switch status for E-call self-diagnosis) is bridged by the switch contact. This is recognized by the emergency call system control unit (EMERGENCY CALL, A35/8)  whereupon an EMERGENCY CALL is then triggered.
