	Remove/install
	Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
1	Switch off ignition
2	Remove bottom engine compartment paneling
	Remove right oxygen sensor upstream of catalytic converter (G3/4)
3	Remove air filter housing	The electrical connector (G3/4x1) right oxygen sensor upstream of catalytic converter (G3/4) is located below the air filter housing in the area of the transmission bell housing.	AR09.10-P-1150CV
4	Unclip and disconnect electrical connector (G3/4x1) and electrical feed line for right oxygen sensor upstream of catalytic converter (G3/4) from retaining clamp
5	Remove right catalytic converter		AR49.10-P-7100CW
6	Remove right oxygen sensor upstream of catalytic converter (G3/4)	Coat thread with paste.

	Remove right oxygen sensor downstream of catalytic converter (G3/6)
7	Remove air filter housing	The electrical connector (G3/6x1) right oxygen sensor downstream of catalytic converter (G3/6) is located below the air filter housing in the area of the transmission bell housing.
8	Unclip and disconnect electrical connector (G3/6x1) and electrical feed line for right oxygen sensor downstream of catalytic converter (G3/6) from retaining clamp
9	Remove right oxygen sensor downstream of catalytic converter (G3/6)	Coat thread with paste.

	Remove left oxygen sensor upstream of catalytic converter (G3/3)
10	Deactivate easy entry/exit function	Vehicles with code 275, Memory package (driver seat, steering column, mirrors)
11	Move front wheels to straight-ahead position and secure steering wheel.	The steering wheel must not be turned when the steering coupling is detached, otherwise the clock spring contact will be destroyed.

12	Detach heat shield for lower steering shaft on bulkhead
13	Disconnect steering coupling		AR46.10-P-8000CW
14	Unclip and disconnect electrical connector and electrical feed line for left oxygen sensor upstream of catalytic converter (G3/3) from retaining clamp
15	Remove oxygen sensor on the left upstream of the catalytic converter (G3/3) using a suitable tool	Coat thread with paste.

16	Unclip and disconnect electrical connector (G3/5x1) and electrical feed line for left oxygen sensor downstream of catalytic converter (G3/5) from retaining clamp
17	Remove left oxygen sensor downstream of catalytic converter (G3/5)	Coat thread with paste.

18	Install in the reverse order
19	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read fault memory
	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
20	Test run engine and check exhaust system for leaks
