	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by handling hot or glowing objects.	Wear safety gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary.	AS00.00-Z-0002-01A
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Remove cylinder head cover trim
2	Remove air filter housing		AR09.10-P-1150CD
3	Disconnect electrical connector (1)
4	Expose electrical wiring harness for oxygen sensor upstream of catalytic converter (G3/2)	The fastening clip (2) which is removed during removal must be put back in exactly the same position again during installation.
5	Remove oxygen sensor upstream of catalytic converter (G3/2)	Coat thread of oxygen sensor upstream of catalytic converter (G3/2) with heat-resistant lubricant.

6	Install in the reverse order
7	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS, read out fault memory and erase if required	Stored faults which may be caused by assembly work, test work, removed lines or a simulation, must be processed and erased in fault memories after completing the work.	AD00.00-P-2000-04A
	Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
8	Carry out an engine test run and check exhaust system for leaks
