Remove/install steering coupling - AR46.10-P-8000V

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Detach lower steering shaft (80a) from steering coupling (25) Model 171 with engine 271
Model 172 with engine 271, 274
AR46.10-P-0621V 
Model 171 with engine 113, 272
Model 172 with engine 152, 276, 651

2 Unscrew nut (25c) and pull bolt (25b) out of the steering coupling (25) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace self-locking nut (25c).  
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Safety screw and steering coupling locknut to rack-and-pinion steering *BA46.10-P-1002-01E 
3 Carefully pull steering coupling (25) off the rack-and-pinion steering (23)   AR46.20-P-0600-01V
NOTES Do not use force (hammer blows, excessive leverage).
Otherwise, the lower steering coupling (25) may be damaged as it is sensitive to force applied from the side.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Turn rack-and-pinion steering (23) to center position and mount steering coupling (25).
4 Install in the reverse order
