	Remove/install
	Risk of injury to skin or eyes from hydraulic fluid spraying out under pressure. Risk of poisoning from swallowing hydraulic fluid.	Depressurize hydraulic system completely before starting any work on it. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses.	AS00.00-Z-0013-01A
1	Remove engine cover	Grasp with both hands and pry off. Check gasket, replace if necessary. When putting the engine cover in place, ensure that the seal is correctly seated at the oil filler neck. The seal should not be pressed down by the engine cover, but must lie against the engine cover.
2	Extract oil from power steering expansion reservoir	The area surrounding the separation point should be cleaned thoroughly before opening the hydraulic system. Even the smallest dirt particles, introduced into the hydraulic components, can lead to malfunctions and a total failure of the hydraulic system.

3	Remove poly-V belt		AR13.20-P-0001CW
4	Remove air filter housing		AR09.10-P-1150EVO
5	Detach air ducting of air filter housing from turbocharger
6	Detach connector for electrical line (4) from power steering pump (1) and place electrical line (4) to one side
7	Detach expansion hose (3) from power steering pump (1)	Collect escaping oil with rags and seal connections immediately.
7	Detach expansion hose (3) from power steering pump (1)	Record plug	Figure
8	Detach pressure line (2) from power steering pump (1)	Replace seal.
