Remove/Install Fuel Pump Control Unit - Ar47.20-D-5717A

NOTES Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge   AH54.00-P-0001-01A

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Connect diagnostic system and read out variant coding for FSCU (4) When replacing the FSCU (4).  
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-D-2000-04SD
2 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m)    
3 Remove driver's seat   AR91.10-D-1010H
4 Remove cover under the driver's seat    
5 Release and disconnect electrical connections (1, 2)    
6 Remove screw/bolt (3)    
7 Remove FSCU (4)    
8 Install in the reverse order    
  Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
9 Carry out an engine test run
