Remove/Install Regulator For Alternator - Ar15.40-D-5760WE (Electrical System - Engine (Starting, Charging, Glow Plug) - Model 906)

	Remove/install
Engine 642			AR15.40-D-5032SF
1	Unclip cap (1) on alternator with LIN bus (G2/7) and take off	Unclip cap (1) on the three cast in latches (arrows). Installation:  Check the cast in latches (arrows) on the cap (1) for damage; replace the cap (1) if necessary.
2	Remove bolts (4) and control (2)	Installation:  Replace control (2). For a new control (2) the cap (3) is preassembled in the assembly position, the carbon brushes are held back in this way. Push the cap (3) into its end position after tightening down the control (2). The carbon brushes are released and come to the stop on the slip rings (5).
	Checking
3	Check both slip rings (5) in the alternator with LIN bus (G2/7) for galling	Replace alternator with LIN bus (G2/7) if there is galling or damage.
4	Install in the reverse order
