Inputs and outputs 

The parameterizable special module (PSM) control unit (N26/15) has various inputs and outputs. The inputs are debounced and stored as a signal in the signal pool. The logical status "1" means that the respective switch at the input is active, irrespective of whether the input is positive-active or ground-active.

The individual outputs are assigned signals by means of parameterization. In the case of outputs with special functions (asymmetric half-bridge) and pulse width modulation (PWM), additional information regarding their use is required. If the respective signal is "1" (active), the output is activated. Activation is performed irrespective of the switched level (low-side or high-side).
