	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof.	No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

1	Remove front engine cover
2	Detach ground line from battery	When removing the right engine support (8)

3.1	Remove air filter housing with engine air intake duct upstream of air filter	For removing right-hand engine mount (7)
		Bolt, air filter to cylinder head cover	*BA09.10-P-1001-01M
		Bolt, air filter to air intake pipe support brace	*BA09.10-P-1002-01M
3.2	Unclip ME-SFI [ME] control unit and place to one side with connected lines	For removing left-hand engine mount (7)
		Remove/install injection system control unit	AR07.08-P-7008FH
4	Remove heat shield (3) above engine mount (7) on engine support (8); to do this remove screw/bolts (4)	Bolt, heat shield to engine support	*BA22.10-P-1003-02A
5	Mount engine hoist and raise engine slightly	When removing the right engine support (8)

		Only raise engine sufficiently that the engine mount (7) is not under tension.

7	Lift engine	Pay attention when lifting out engine that no cables and lines are damaged and that engine does not lean against the bulkhead.

9	Unscrew screw/bolts (6) for engine mounts (7) on front axle carrier	Bolt, front engine mount to front axle carrier	*BA22.10-P-1002-03E
10	Detach steering coupling on lower steering shaft	For removing left-hand engine mount (7)

11	Remove engine mount (7) downwards	For assembly the engine mount (7) always ensure that a correct installation position engine mount (7) in pairs. Pay attention to environmental protection regulations for disposal of engine mounts (7). Dispose engine mounts (7) into mixed scrap.
12.1	Remove screw/bolt from A/C compressor at engine support	When removing the left engine support (8)
		Bolt, refrigerant compressor to timing case/crankcase/engine support	*BA83.55-P-1001-01M
12.2	Disconnect electrical connection on alternator	When removing the right engine support (8)
		Remove/install alternator	AR15.40-P-5032FH
13	Remove screw/bolt from starter heat shield (3) on engine support (8)	When removing the right engine support (8)
14	Detach engine support (8) on cylinder crankcase and remove; remove screw/bolts (9) to do this	Bolt, engine support to crankcase	*BA22.10-P-1001-02A

15	Install in the reverse order
