	Remove/install
	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or tilting off of the vehicle lift.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
		Always replace engine mounts in pairs.
1	Detach engine air intake duct (1) from cold air intake

8.1	Remove right charge air hose upstream of charge air cooler	Engine 271.9
8.2	Detach A/C compressor from timing case cover and engine support (7)	Engine 271.8 Lay refrigerant compressor with attached pipe system to the side below in the engine compartment and secure against falling down.	AR83.55-P-5300CW
9	Take out engine mount (3)	Remove right engine mount (3) over front axle carrier. The anti-twist locks (5) for engine supports (3) must sit in the cutouts (6) for engine mount (7). Pay attention to environmental protection regulations for disposal of engine mounts (3). Dispose engine mounts (3) into mixed scrap.

11	Remove bolt (8) on refrigerant compressor from engine support (7)	Engine 271.9

13	Unclip electrical line for oxygen sensor upstream of catalytic converter at heat shield	Engine 271.8
14	Remove screw/bolts (9) from the cylinder crankcase and take out the engine support (7)	Remove engine support (7) upwards. Engine 271.8: Remove engine support (7) with heat shield.

15	Install in the reverse order
