| 1 | Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key (A8/1) or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button (S2/3) from electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) | ||
| 2 | Remove front bumper (1) | AR88.20-P-2000RK | |
| 3 | Unclip DISTRONIC (DTR) bumper sensor at the front left (B29/2) or DISTRONIC (DTR) bumper sensor at the front right (B29/3) from bracket (2) at the front bumper (1) | ||
| 4 | Disconnect electrical connection (3) on DISTRONIC (DTR) bumper sensor at the front left (B29/2) or DISTRONIC (DTR) bumper sensor at the front right (B29/3) | ||
| 5 | Remove DISTRONIC (DTR) sensor on the bumper at the front left (B29/2) or DISTRONIC (DTR) sensor on the bumper at the front right (B29/3) from the bumper | ||
| 6 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 7 | Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS, read out fault memory and erase if necessary | ||
